Rule 5 - General Requirements for Admission to the Bar(a)Prerequisites. An Applicant must be: (1) A citizen of the United States or an alien lawfully present in the United States; and(2) At least 18 years of age.(b)Minimal Professional Competence. An Applicant has the burden of establishing Minimal Professional Competence either by satisfying the requirements for admission by examination, for admission by transferred Uniform Bar Examination score, or for admission without examination.(c)Character and Fitness. An Applicant has the burden of establishing that the Applicant possesses good moral character and fitness warranting the Applicant's admission to the bar.Board's Notes
