Rule 2.09 - Notice to PartiesA. Every notice required by this Part to be served upon the Respondent may be served by U. S. certified mail, return receipt requested, or by any other means of service permitted by the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure to the Respondent at the Respondent's Address or to the Respondent's counsel.B. Every notice required by this Part to be served upon the Commission may be served by U. S. certified mail, return receipt requested, or by any other means of service permitted by the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, to the address of the Commission's counsel of record or, if none, to the address designated by the Commission.C. Whenever a party has the right or is required to do some act or take some proceedings within a prescribed period after the service of a notice or other paper upon the party and the notice or paper is served upon the party by mail or telephonic document transfer, three days shall be added to the prescribed period.
