2.3.1Continuing, Exclusive Jurisdiction. All provisions of the Texas Family Code ("Tex. Fam. Code") regarding continuing, exclusive jurisdiction and transfer shall take precedence over these rules.2.3.2Later Filed Case. If a case is filed in which there is a substantial identity of parties or subject matter as in a previously nonsuited or dismissed case, the later case shall be assigned to the court where the prior case was pending. When such a situation is disclosed for the first time after the hearing begins, the judge of the court shall immediately order the suit transferred to the court in which the prior suit was pending.Harris Cnty.
