A staff attorney or law clerk may engage in political activity that does not tend to reflect adversely on the dignity of the court or his office, or interfere with the proper performance of his official duties, subject to the following limitations:
A. he should not use the prestige of his office to advance political interests of others;B. he should not act as a leader or hold any office in a political organization;C. he should not solicit funds for a political organization, candidate, or event;D. he should not become a candidate for political office; andE. he should not make speeches for or publicly endorse a political organization or candidate.
