Of primary importance to the courts, the bar, and the public is that the members of the Rhode Island Judiciary continue their judicial and legal education in order to fulfill their obligation to serve the citizens of this state with competence, integrity, independence, and objectivity. This rule is adopted to establish mandatory minimum requirements as a means of standardizing continued professional growth.
