Any attorney admitted to practice law in this State, or any attorney specially admitted by a court of this State for a particular proceeding, is subject to the disciplinary jurisdiction of this Court. Attorneys who have been suspended or disbarred by this Court shall remain subject to the court's disciplinary jurisdiction in proceedings for any misconduct committed while a member of the Bar.
Nothing herein contained shall be construed to deny to any other court such powers as are necessary for that court to maintain control over proceedings conducted before it, such as the power of contempt.
