2002 Committee Notes
Rule 54 has been deleted and reserved for future use. The Committee considered some of the definitions in the rule to be surplusage, see Rule 26(c) dealing with oath and affirmation, other definitions to be archaic, e.g., demurrers and pleas in abatement, and the remaining definitions to be obvious, e.g., representative of the state.
