R.I. Super. Ct. R. Crim. P. 37
1972 Notes
Until 1968, Federal Rules 37 and 39 governed various aspects of appellate procedure in criminal cases in the federal courts. These rules were abrogated when the Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure went into effect. The new appellate rules of the Supreme Court of Rhode Island contain provisions governing the procedure in appeals in criminal cases, including the matters previously covered by Federal Rules 37 and 39.
