R.I. Super. Ct. R. Civ. P. 78
Every party requesting a court reporter to transcribe testimony taken in court by the court reporter shall be required to pay for the transcript at a rate not to exceed three dollars ($3.00) per page for originals thereof and one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per page for copies. The rate to be charged for transcripts ordered by any branch, department, agency, board or commission of the government of the State of Rhode Island shall not exceed two dollars and fifty cents ($3.00) per page for originals and one dollar ($1.50) per page for copies. The minimum charge of a transcript shall be five dollars ($5.00). Policies and procedures regarding the ordering, payment, and delivery of transcripts shall be promulgated by the Supreme Court Finance and Budget Office of the Administrative Office of State Courts.
