The clerk of the court shall keep such records in criminal proceedings as required by law, rule, or by order of the judicial officers of the court, including a criminal docket in which, among other things, shall be entered each order or judgment of the court. The entry of an order or judgment shall show the date the entry is made. In trials in the Family Court, all proceedings, including the testimony of witnesses and the opening statements and closing arguments to the jury, shall be stenographically or electronically recorded.
