(a) Absent an indication on the Summary Appeal Order of the number of days in which payment is due, the Clerk of Courts will set the payment due date as 30 days from the date of the Order.(b) In the event of a withdrawal or dismissal of the appeal, the Clerk will enter the payment due date pursuant to the Summary Appeal Order or, if the Order is silent as to the due date, any magisterial district judge payment schedule forwarded with the record. Absent any due date on the Summary Appeal Order or magisterial district judge time payment schedule, the due date will be set as 30 days from the date of the Summary Appeal Order to enter judgment on the judgment of the magisterial district judge.(c) The Clerk of Courts will establish a due date of thirty days from the effective date of this rule for all summary cases then in the system with amounts due and no due date otherwise indicated. (d) The Clerk of Courts will enforce nonpayment of restitution, costs, fees, and fines in summary cases primarily through the Clerk's collection system of notification letters and then through a collection agency.Adopted April 20, 2006, effective 6/5/2006.
