Rule 133 - Discontinuancea. In claims exceeding $2,000, exclusive of costs and interest, a party may file a written application for discontinuance no less than twenty (20) days prior to trial.b. Such application shall set forth the reasons why the matter cannot be tried expeditiously or without extensive discovery in this Court.c. If the application is granted, the claim shall be marked "Discontinued without Prejudice" and the claimant may file a complaint in the Court of Common Pleas.
