Rule *1007.2 - Jury Size in Civil Trials(A) Except as provided in paragraph (B) below, juries in civil cases shall consist, initially, of eight members. Trials in such cases shall continue so long as at least six jurors remain in service. If the number of jurors falls below six, a mistrial shall be declared upon prompt application therefor by any party then of record.(B) Trial by a jury consisting of 12 members may be had if requested in the jury demand at the time it is made or within 30 days thereafter.
