Rule 10,001 - APPLICATION FOR CONTINUANCE OF PETITIONS, MOTIONS, ETCA. Applications for continuance shall be submitted in writing no later than seven (7) days before the scheduled date of the hearing, unless good cause is shown for noncompliance with the above time limit.B. A hearing or trial which has been continued on two (2) previous occasions or less may be continued a third time by written motion alone. A fourth (4) or subsequent continuance request, in addition to being in writing, must be made in open court.C. All requests for continuances must include the number of times the matter has been previously continued.
