Rule 225*(a),(b) - Summing Up, Sequence of Speeches(a)* The defendant's attorney may make an opening speech either immediately following the opening speech of plaintiff s attorney or at the opening of the defendant's case.(b)* The attorney for the party having the burden of proof shall first sum up. The attorney for each adverse party or group of parties may then address the jury and the attorney who commenced the final summations may conclude, restricting himself or herself to answering the arguments advanced.Montgo.
