Any request for discovery in a simple support, custody, protection from abuse or protection from victim of sexual violence or intimidation case shall be made to the court by filing a motion for leave to take discovery setting forth the type of discovery sought and reasons therefor. This shall not preclude the parties from stipulating to additional discovery. All discovery authorized by order of court shall be subject to the limitations of rule L4005.
