Rule 1712 - Order And Notice Of Certification As Class Action(a) After the entry of an order of certification of a class action, the judge to whom the case has been assigned shall in the usual course conduct a class action notice conference at which all parties shall be represented for the purpose of considering the matters set forth in Pa. R.Civ.P. 1712.(b) If at the time of the class action notice conference the court determines that individual notice is to be given, a uniform statement shall be drafted by which each individual who is to receive notice may opt for inclusion or exclusion for the class.(c) The proposed form of notice required by Pa. R.Civ.P. 1712(c) must be submitted for approval by the plaintiff to the court and to all named defendants no later than fifteen (15) days prior to the class action notice conference.Amended effective November 2014.
