Rule 8.7 - Confirmation Of Report,
(a) If no exceptions are taken to an auditor's report within twenty (20) days of the date of its filing, the clerk shall transmit the report to the court for confirmation as of course. When confirmed, the statement of proposed distribution found in the auditor's report shall become the decree of distribution
(b) When exceptions are filed to the report of an auditor, the court shall hear the exceptions and either (1) confirm the auditor's report, whereupon the statement of proposed distribution found in the auditor's report shall become the decree of distributions, or (2) if the auditor has made an error of law or abused his or her discretion, modify the auditor's report and enter an appropriate decree of distribution.
