Rule 576 - Filing And Service By Parties(a)Filing. The moving party shall file its motion, whether uncontested, contested or self-represented litigant, with the Clerk of Courts in the manner proscribed by Pa.R.Crim.P. 576(A).(b)Service. Concurrently with filing, the moving party shall serve upon the opposing party or his/her counsel of record a copy of the motion. Thereafter, the moving party shall file a certificate of service in substantially the same form as that set forth in the Comment to Pa.R.Crim.P. 576.(c)Self-Represented Litigant Motions. All self-represented litigant motions shall be filed with the Clerk of Courts. If an individual has counsel, the Clerk of Courts shall forward a copy of the motion to counsel of record. If a motion does not comply with the law or rules of court, the Clerk of Courts shall docket the motion, note the deficiency and forward the motion to the office of the Court Administrator. Thereafter, the Court Administrator shall confer with the Court and promptly notify the individual of the deficiency.
