Rule 117 - Coverage: Issuing Warrants; Preliminary Arraignments And Summary Trials; And Setting And Accepting Bail(a) Continuous coverage for issuing warrants, holding preliminary arraignments and summary trials, and setting and accepting bail shall be by the traditional on-call system as presently established. The President Judge shall assign a Magisterial District Judge to establish the schedule of assignment of Magisterial District Judges to on-call duty. This schedule shall be submitted to the President Judge for approval.(b) Magisterial District Judges, the Clerk of Courts and the Sheriff of Warren County acting in his capacity as Warden of the Warren County Prison shall be authorized to accept bail in accordance with the provisions and subject to the limitations of the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure.
