Rule 1028(c) - Preliminary Objections(1) Preliminary Objections shall be filed with the Prothonotary, who will forward them to the assigned judge.(2) The moving party must file a supporting brief with the Prothonotary, no later than twenty (20)days after filing the Preliminary Objections.(3) All response briefs shall be filed no later than twenty (20) days of receipt of the moving party's brief.(4) Service shall be made in conformity with Pa. R. Civ. P. 440.(5) All requests for extension of the twenty (20) day period to file responsive briefs shall be submitted in writing to Court Administration, and it will be referred to the assigned judge for consideration.(6) If a brief in support of preliminary objections is not filed within the twenty (20) days after the preliminary objections have been filed, they shall be dismissed by Order of Court.
