(a) The Court Administrator shall maintain a master list of cases to be tried before a jury and a master list of cases to be tried by a judge without a jury. Cases shall be placed on either list pursuant to order of court.(b) After consultation with the court, the Court Administrator shall prepare a list of cases to call for trial before a jury from the master list. The trial list shall be prepared so as to give preference in accordance with Pa.R.C.P. No. 214 and then as the court may see fit. Cases that have not been given preference shall be listed for trial, as nearly as possible, in the chronological order in which they were placed on the master trial list. The Court Administrator shall then mail a notice of trial to counsel for each party and to each party not represented by counsel. Notice may be by regular mail addressed to counsel or the party at the address they have endorsed on their last pleading.
(c) The Court Administrator shall assign cases from the master list of non-jury cases to a judge and give notice of the assignment by regular mail to counsel for each party and each party not represented by counsel. All scheduling of such cases will be done by the assigned judge.Amended effective 3/1/2024
