In order to comply with Pa.R.C.P. No. 1147(a)(2), every complaint in mortgage foreclosure shall contain a full and complete description of the land subject to the mortgage. NOTE: A Metes and bounds description of the land is preferable. The attachment as an Exhibit to the complaint of a copy of the deed which conveyed the land to the mortgagor(s) will usually constitute compliance with this rule. A reference in the complaint to a recorded deed or mortgage for a fuller description will not constitute compliance with this rule.
