The Court may approve the compromise, settlement or discontinuance of an action filed on behalf of a minor or an action in which a minor has interest without a hearing provided that the petition complies with LR2039B. Should the Court determine that a hearing is necessary, the Petition will be entertained pending the hearing. If there is an existing civil docket, the Petition shall be presented as a civil motion; if not, the Petition shall be presented as an Orphan's Court motion.
