Rule 720.2 - Briefs Required; Time For Filing; Copies To Be Served(a) Upon receiving notice of an order that, pursuant to Pa.R.Crim.P. 720(B)(2)(a), briefs are required for a resolution of the motion, the defendant shall file a brief not later than twenty-one(21) days prior to the day scheduled for argument. The Commonwealth shall file a brief not later than seven (7) days after service of the defendant's brief. A reply may be filed by defendant two (2) days after service of the Commonwealth's brief, and by the Commonwealth two (2) days after service of defendant's reply brief.(b) One copy of each brief shall be filed with the Clerk of Courts, one copy shall be served on each co-defendant separately represented, one copy shall be served on the Attorney for the Commonwealth, and one copy shall be served on the Court Administrator of the Criminal Division.Amended effective 4/9/2024.
