Any school district seeking to have a person appointed as a school police officer pursuant to provisions of 24 P. S. Sec. 7-778 shall file a petition in the Office of Prothonotary.
Immediately after filing and docketing of the petition, it shall be forwarded to the President Judge, or designee, for review. The Court will determine the sufficiency of the averments and whether the petition should be granted without the need for a hearing.
