Rule 13.055 - QUALIFICATIONS OF ARBITRATORS(1) To qualify as a court-approved arbitrator, a person must:(a) Request, complete and submit, to the Presiding Judge, an application for the Arbitration Panel for the Twenty-Fifth Judicial District;(b) If not a retired or senior judge or stipulated non-lawyer, be an active member of the Oregon State Bar for at least 5 years.(c) Meet the requirements of UTCR 13.090.(d) Receive the approval of the Presiding Judge.(e) Be willing to travel to Yamhill County to conduct hearings.(2) The parties may stipulate to an arbitrator not on the 25th Judicial District Arbitration Panel and proceed through court-annexed arbitration. The arbitrator not on the arbitration panel will receive an arbitration packet which will include instructions and forms for the Twenty-Fifth Judicial District, as well as an Arbitrator's Oath which must be executed and returned to the arbitration coordinator before arbitration proceeds.Yamhill Supp. L.
