Rule 1.45 - Nondiscrimination Policy

In determining good moral character and fitness to practice law, the Board shall not discriminate against any applicant on the basis of:

(a) race, color, or ethnic identity;

(b) gender or gender identity;

(c) sexual orientation;

(d) marital status;

(e) creed or religion;

(f) political beliefs or affiliation;

(g) sensory, mental, or physical disability;

(h) national origin;

(i) age;

(j) honorably discharged veteran or military status;

(k) use of a trained service animal by a person with a disability; or

(l) any other class protected under state or federal law.
