Rule 7.055 - SETTING SHOW CAUSE HEARINGS(1) Show cause hearings are set by telephone or may also be set by written notice without prior consultation with counsel. The court may confirm the date on a pre-stamped postcard or copy of the order, if provided by counsel.(2) Show cause hearings are reset by telephone. The attorney is instructed to prepare an order postponing the hearing to the new date and time, and that order is served on all other parties. Occasionally a show cause hearing is reset in court with all parties present and written confirmation is not provided by the court.Deschutes Supp. L. R. 7.055
