Rule 7.06 - Jurisdictional Memorandum of Amicus Curiae
(A) General
(1) An amicus curiae may file a jurisdictional memorandum urging the Supreme Court to accept or decline to accept a jurisdictional appeal. Leave to file an amicus memorandum is not required.
(2) An amicus memorandum shall conform to the requirements of this rule, except that a copy of the court of appeals opinion and judgment entry is not required to be attached to the amicus memorandum.
(B) Deadline for filing
(1) An amicus memorandum in support of jurisdiction shall be filed no later than one day after the appellant's deadline for perfecting an appeal to the Supreme Court or no later than one day after the appellant's deadline for filing a memorandum in support of jurisdiction, whichever is later.
(2) An amicus memorandum in response shall be filed by the appellee's deadline for filing a memorandum in response.
(3) The Clerk of the Supreme Court shall refuse to file an amicus memorandum that is not timely received.
