12.1 Civil actions in which one of the parties declare bankruptcy will be dealt with in accordance with the following authority and procedure:(a) Rule 4001 of the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure;12.2 Any requests to continue, hold, or in any other way delay disposition of a case due to bankruptcy of one of the parties, must be accompanied by certification of the bankruptcy filing or stay of proceeding from the United States Bankruptcy Court having jurisdiction. The attorney for the bankrupt party shall forward notice of the bankruptcy filing to the Court Manager. The Senior Resident Superior Court Judge may then place the case on inactive status.N.C. R.
