N.C. R. Prac. Super. & Dist. Ct. 21.2

Rule 21.2 - Purpose

These rules are designed to help achieve stable and secure homes for children who come into the court's juvenile jurisdiction. To that end, these rules serve the following purposes:

(1) To provide for judicial oversight of case planning;

(2) To ensure a coordinated decision-making process;

(3) To eliminate unnecessary delays in court proceedings; and (4) To encourage the involvement of families and children in the planning and decision-making process.
