Rule 69 - Passing Grade; Admission by Court1. Upon receipt of a recommendation for admission from the board of bar examiners, the court may admit to the practice of law any and all applicants so recommended having a total scale score of not less than 75.00 on the examination, a scale score of not less than 75.00 on each of at least three essay questions, and a scale score of not less than 85.00 on the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination. 2. A July applicant's failure to meet all the qualifications for admission by January 31 of the year immediately following the date of the examination, or a February applicant's failure to meet all qualifications for admission by August of the year of the examination, shall constitute a withdrawal of the application, unless the supreme court otherwise orders. Except during February and July, the board of bar examiners shall submit monthly petitions to the supreme court respecting the admission results. The board of bar examiners may submit further petitions to the supreme court as ordered by the supreme court. 3. The names of the applicants admitted to the practice of law in the state shall be promptly published in the state bar publication. As amended; effective 5/28/2003.
