Rule 41 - Dismissal without prejudice(a) Any civil case that has been pending for more than 1 year and in which it appears from the court record that no action has been taken for more than 6 months may be dismissed, on the court's own initiative, without prejudice. Written notice of entry of a dismissal pursuant to this rule shall be forthwith given to each party that has appeared in the action.(b) No case that has been set for trial shall be subject to the provisions of this rule.Nev.
