Section 6-1507 - Registration of foreign judgments; registration of Canadian judgments(A) Registration of foreign judgments from other United States jurisdictions. Upon the filing of a foreign judgment and affidavit as required by Neb. Rev. Stat. § 25-1587.04, the clerk shall, within 10 days of such filing, mail notice of the filing of the foreign judgment to the judgment debtor at the address provided within the affidavit.(B) Registration of Canadian money judgments. Upon receipt of a registration that includes the required documents and information as set forth in statute, and payment of the fee as for registration of a foreign judgment under § 25-1587.06, the clerk shall file the registration, assign a docket number, and enter the Canadian judgment in the court's docket.Rule 7 amended June 28, 1995.
