Section 6-1412 - Amendments(A) Amendments to pleadings may be allowed within the discretion of the court.(B) A party who has obtained leave to amend a pleading but fails to do so within the time limit shall be considered as electing to abide by the former pleading.(C) A proposed amended pleading that is filed prior to obtaining leave of the court shall have no operative effect until the court grants leave to amend.Amended June 9, 2021, effective 1/1/2022.
