Rule 24.08 - Misdemeanors or Felonies-Continuance

For good cause shown, the court may continue a criminal proceeding to a fixed day, or to a date for trial to be set thereafter.

Adopted June 13, 1979, eff. 1/1/1980.

This is the same as Rule 65.01 except that 'civil action' has been changed to 'criminal proceeding' and the provision concerning costs has been deleted.
