Rule 27.4 - Other Proceedings

Proceedings to revoke or modify any other suspended sentence or period of post-release supervision shall be conducted in accordance with Rule 27.

Comment

Rule 27.4 is consistent with existing statutes and case law. See Miss. Code Ann. §§ 47-7-34, 47-7-35, and 47-7-37 (post-release supervision); Johnson v. State, 925 So. 2d 86 (Miss. 2006) (discussing imposition of suspended sentences).
