2009 Orders
The September 10, 2009, order, in section (d), substituted "court reporter for "stenographer.
Derivation:
Maryland Rule of Procedure 1335, adopted June 28, 1971, eff. July 5, 1971, related to dismissal of appeals, rescinded March 30, 1993, eff. July 1, 1993.
2018 Orders
The April 9, 2018 order, amended the Rule to reorganize it, to specify grounds for mandatory dismissals and grounds for discretionary dismissals, to delete a cross reference to Rule 2-311, to add a cross reference to Rule 7-105, and made stylistic changes.
See Rule 7-105 allowing the District Court to strike a notice of appeal for certain reasons, including failure to file the notice of appeal within the time prescribed by Rule 7-104. See Rule 7-112(f)(1) and its Committee note regarding dismissal where the appellant fails to appear.
