Rule 22 - REVIEW OF RULINGS AND ORDERS OF THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION(a)(1) Review of rulings and orders of the Public Utilities Commission, including applications for relief pending final determination, shall be governed by these Rules.(2) Whenever a statute or rule regulating the taking of an appeal from a judgment of the trial court in civil actions uses the term "the court," "the clerk," or a similar term, they shall for the purpose of a proceeding governed by this Rule be read, respectively, as "the commission," "the secretary of the commission," or other appropriate terms.(b) On an appeal from the Public Utilities Commission to the Law Court, the appellant shall pay the filing fee by check, payable to the Clerk of the Law Court, to the secretary of the commission when filing the notice of appeal, and the secretary of the commission shall transmit that check representing the filing fee to the Clerk of the Law Court along with the certified copy of the notice of appeal pursuant to Rule 3(a).Amended June 6, 2017, effective 9/1/2017.Advisory Notes - January 1, 2001
