The Chief Justice shall appoint a continuous revision committee charged with studying the rules of practice and procedure before this court and making recommendations to improve them. This committee shall meet at least annually to collate and evaluate suggestions for revision of these rules, as well as to make any recommendations of its own, and shall submit a report to the court. The committee shall consist of two justices of this court, one court of appeal judge, one judge of another court, and two members of the bar, one of whom shall be a district attorney. Suggestions for revision of the rules should be made or referred to the Judicial Administrator, who shall serve as ex officio secretary of the revision committee and who shall receive and transmit all recommendations and critical evaluations to the members of the revision committee.
