Rule SCR 3.475 - Furnishing legal services pursuant to a pre-paid legal services plan

As used in this Rule, a pre-paid legal services plan means a plan, program, or insurance policy under which a member of the Association is paid (in whole or in part) legal fees or a member of the plan is reimbursed for legal fees for services rendered to a member of the plan.

A member of the Association may furnish legal services to a member of a pre-paid legal services plan, as heretofore defined, provided that the plan provides that no agent, servant or employee of the plan or the plan itself shall interfere with or control the performance of the duties of the attorney.
