Domestic Relations proceedings are defined, for the purpose of this rule, as any proceeding for a judgment of dissolution of marriage, parentage, allocation of parental rights and responsibilities as defined in the Supreme Court Rules, or a civil domestic violence proceeding, as well as proceedings for temporary relief or for a temporary restraining order or preliminary injunction ancillary thereto, and proceedings to modify or enforce orders of judgments entered in Domestic Relations proceedings.
The foregoing rules have been enacted as additional guidelines for the adjudication of Domestic Relations proceedings in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit and are not meant to serve as a limitation on the Court's inherent authority in any manner.
