Rule 8.09 - Order of Support and Income Withholding

A. Order of Support and Child Support Payment.

The Statewide Order of Support form shall be entered contemporaneous with all orders or Judgments providing for maintenance and child support or modification thereof. Unless otherwise provided in the order for child support, all child support payments shall be made to the State Disbursement Unit.

B. Maintenance Payments.

Payments of maintenance shall be made to the Will County Clerk of the Court, 100 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, Illinois, unless otherwise agreed by the parties or ordered by the Court.

C. Income Withholding.

An Income Withholding for Support may be served upon a Support payor's employer upon the entry of an Order of Support or for an existing Order of Support. Any Income Withholding for Support served upon the employer shall be filed with the Circuit Clerk and notice shall be provided to all parties.
