These rules set forth procedures for the Juvenile Court in the Twenty-Second Judicial Circuit. They supplement the Juvenile Court Act of 1987 (705 ILCS 405/1-1 et. seq.)[hereinafter Juvenile Court Act] , the Code of Civil Procedure (735 ILCS 5/1-101 et. seq.) and the Rules of the Supreme Court of Illinois. They are designed to facilitate the movement of cases through the court, by reducing unnecessary delay, strengthening case flow management, and encouraging the involvement of parents and other parties to provide for the best interests of children.
