Rule 14.18 - TERMINATION OF SMALL ESTATES OF WARDSA. If money has been deposited as provided in Section 24-21 and the balance drops below the amount which may be transferred pursuant to Section 25-2 and no part of the estate consists of real estate or a pending cause of action for personal injuries, a petition may be filed requesting distribution of the balance of the funds without further administration.B. When a guardian is acting, and the estate under administration is or becomes less than the amount which may be transferred pursuant to Section 25-2 and no part of the estate consists of real estate or a pending cause of action for personal injuries, a petition may be filed requesting distribution of the estate without further administration. If it appears that there is no unpaid creditor and that it is for the best interest of the estate and the ward, the court may order the guardian to file his final account and make the distribution as the court directs.
