Parties seeking a simplified joint dissolution pursuant to 750 ILCS 5/452 shall use forms approved by the court which shall be available upon request from the Clerk of the Circuit Court. After filing the joint petition, both parties shall appear in person before the court on the assigned date and a hearing will be held. No transcript of the hearing shall be required. Brochures approved by the Chief Judge explaining the joint simplified dissolution procedures shall be provided by the Clerk of the Circuit Court.
