Rule 10.08 - FIRST APPEARANCE-RIGHTS COURTWhen an accused in a criminal proceeding is taken into the custody of the McHenry County Sheriff, he shall be brought forthwith as soon as practicable before a judge and advised:
A. of the charges alleged against him, the possible penalty of fine and/or imprisonment upon conviction and the amount of bail and fees needed to secure his release on bail;B. of his right of representation by an attorney of his choice or, if indigent, by a Public Defender;C. of his next court appearance date and time;D. of his rights to receive food, shelter and reasonable medical care if needed while in the custody of the McHenry County Sheriff.Ill.
