Ariz. R. Sup. Ct. 92
APPLICATION
For applicability of amending Order No. R-17-0010, effective July 1, 2018, see the Application note at the beginning of the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure.
STATE BAR COMMITTEE NOTE 2000 AMENDMENT
As part of the effort to consolidate formerly separate sets of procedural rules into either the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure or the Rules of the Arizona Supreme Court, various rule provisions contained in the Uniform Rules of Practice of the Superior Court and the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure which were concerned primarily with the internal administration of the Superior Court were transferred to a retitled Section VII of the Rules of the Arizona Supreme Court. New Rule 92 was promulgated in that process. Rules 92(a) and (b) are generally former Rules I(a) and (b) of the Uniform Rules of Practice of the Superior Court, except that the provisions of former Rule I(a)(5) were not retained, as they were arguably inconsistent with current practice with respect to the adoption and promulgation of Local Rules, and were deemed unnecessary in light of the adoption of a new Rule 83 of the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure. Rule 92(c) is former Rule VII of the Uniform Rules of Practice of the Superior Court.
