Rule 32 - Perfection of Appeal; Dismissal by Trial Court
(a) Perfection of the appeal must include:
(1) the timely filing of a notice of appeal and payment of any record or transcript fee with the trial court;
(2) the timely filing of an appellant's memorandum with the trial court;
(3) the timely payment of any superior court filing fee.
(b) In the event an appeal is not fully perfected, the appeal will be deemed abandoned and dismissed by order of the trial court with notice to the appellant.
(c) In the event an appeal is dismissed, the judgment of the trial court may be enforced as if no appeal had been taken. The trial court may take appropriate action, including the application of any payment, deposit, or bond to the sanction or penalty, notice to the Department of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Division or the Department of Public Safety, or notice to the appellant to reappear upon at least 14 calendar days written notice for further proceedings, except that in civil boating, civil marijuana, and parking or standing violation cases, notice is not to be sent to the Department of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Division or the Department of Public Safety.
